Aneta Pochatko

Aneta facilitates creative workshops at Ayres House Studios and beyond, offering spaces that encourage exploration, play, and a return to personal creative curiosity. Her sessions support wellbeing, confidence, and connection, helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy the simple fascination of making art together. She runs a mix of energetic evening workshops, slower reflective afternoons, relaxed Brush and Sip nights, and tailored private or corporate sessions.

Alongside her teaching practice, Aneta works as a mixed media texture artist, experimenting with peeled cardboard, acrylic paint, and other materials. Her work explores quiet interior states, subtle emotional shifts, and the layered conversations that sit beneath the surface. Through a process led approach, she allows the material to guide the work, letting textures and rhythms emerge naturally.

“Working with texture is always fascinating. It allows for the expression of depth and dynamic form and provides a unique tactile experience with the medium.”

Aneta is an Associate and Coordinator at Ayres House Studios, supporting the creative community through gentle coordination, member care, and shared projects. Originally from Slovakia, she studied design before moving to the UK in 2016.
