Aneta Pochatko
Aneta facilitates creative workshops at Ayres House Studios and beyond, centred on exploration, play, and personal creative curiosity. Her sessions support wellbeing, confidence, and connection, encouraging people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore simple, everyday ways to be creative. She offers energetic evening workshops, life drawing, relaxed Brush & Sip nights, and tailored private or corporate sessions.
Alongside her teaching practice, Aneta works as a mixed‑media texture artist, experimenting with peeled cardboard, ink, and acrylic markers. Her work explores quiet interior states, subtle emotional shifts, and the layered conversations beneath the surface. Through a process‑led approach, she lets the material guide the work, allowing textures and rhythms to emerge naturally.

"Working with texture is always fascinating, it offers depth, dynamic form, and a tactile way to explore emotion and material."
Originally from Slovakia, Aneta studied design before moving to the UK in 2016.
As an Associate and Coordinator at Ayres House Studios, she supports the creative community through gentle coordination, member care, and shared projects.
